Hand carved pendants: wear a piece of a story
Discover our unique collection of hand-carved pendants, each one a testament to creativity, sustainability, and mindful craftsmanship. Made from reclaimed wood and adorned with high-quality beads, these pendants are more than just accessories; they are wearable art with deep meaning.

Crafted with intention and care
At Dis' & Dat', most of the wood we use for our hand-carved pendants comes from discarded furniture and leftover pieces, often destined for landfills or fires. Each carving is shaped with good intentions, carefully hand-carved and hand-sanded to perfection. The beads are strung one by one, using only high-quality materials such as wood, glass, crystal, clay, or gemstones. Our collection currently features crosses, Ankhs, mushrooms, maple leaves, and spoons. Each piece holds the essence of the salvaged wood, the chosen beads, and all the good thoughts and feelings poured into its creation, practically bringing itself to life.

A pendant for every spirit
Our necklaces are cherished by people of all ages who connect with the rich symbolism of our designs. Whether you're drawn to the profound meaning of crosses or Ankhs, the earthy charm of mushrooms, or the patriotic spirit of maple leaves, our pendants offer a way to express your personal philosophies, national pride, connection to nature, or desire for good medicine. Each piece is designed to resonate with those who appreciate unique art and meaningful jewelry.

Stories embedded in wood
Each pendant from Dis' & Dat' carries a unique story. Our founder, Rasta, began by carving Ankhs, symbolizing life and serving as a "Key of Life," often worn for protection or as a representation of spiritual wisdom and positive energy. To be more inclusive, he then carved wooden crosses, symbolizing Christianity, sacrifice, and redemption. Mushrooms are continually gaining recognition for their medicinal properties and intricate value, with inspiration drawn from documentaries like "Fantastic Fungi." As a newcomer to Canada, Rasta also carves maple leaves to express his love and appreciation for his new home. Every design reflects a journey, a belief, or an inspiration, making each pendant truly special.
Care for your cherished pendant
Our hand-carved pendants are very easy to care for and generally require minimal maintenance. If you feel the need to cleanse them, you can briefly dip them in mild soap and water, then gently tap them dry and hang. Even better, a good smudging with sage will help to reset any energetic patterns and clear away any bacteria that may have accumulated from handling and wearing. This simple ritual ensures your pendant remains vibrant and energetically pure.
